Extended family sessions
I have been able to capture Kylie's maternity session and felt so humbled when she asked me to do a photo session for her when her Mum and Sister come to visit from Australia. This was their first time seeing each other after Covid!
A lot changed in that time, including little Ari being born! I felt it was essential not just to photograph portraits of the family being together but to make
sure I capture them enjoying being together and getting the kids to laugh and have fun!
This is what Kylie posted on her Facebook after receiving her gallery - and I feel I couldn't say it any better!
I now see a different value in moments like this, that I didn't before. I was never one for getting professional photos. There is something about being able to have these done so that I am able to share & pass these on to Ari one day.
We can't go back in time & I don't want to regret not taking the time to have these moments & people captured.
Life is a gift & is also unpredictable, so as much as we live in the moment, I want to be able to revisit those moments in the future if life changes unexpectantly.
Capturing the moments of your heart today will wow your heart tomorrow. The world moves fast, changing everything around us with each new day.
Photography is a gift that can keep us in a moment forever, blissfully eternal!
